I love this book! I got it just out of curiosity, it was in my suggested books (I don't really know why but it intrigued me), so I got it. I am now planning on buying copies for all my nieces. I figured it would have queens and maybe Joan of Arc or something, like most 'famous women' books I've seen, however it has loads of women and girls through history that did some amazing things. Like freeing their countries from invaders or creating medications and all kinds of cool stuff. I have really enjoyed reading about all of them and I know my nieces will too. I recommend this to anyone who wants their daughters to know they can be anything they want and have them look up to something other than a Disney princess (nothing against Disney, those stories just aren't realistic or motivating to my opinion).

I got this for my 8 year old daughter and she loves it. The summaries of each person are interesting and also short enough to keep her attention. There's a wide variety of women in the book to read about and would be great for any young girl to read about. The book arrived in perfect condition and on time.
It is amazing book for girls. I read it with my niece and we learned a big deal about these women who were unknown to us. This book serves as an inspiration for little girls . Well done writers!
I found this book in our library and enjoyed it so much I bought copies for my granddaughters who are all teens or preteens. Perfect!
This is a great book because you don't have to read it cover to cover (makes my daughter happy)! My daughter looks through the list of 'girls who rocked the world' and chooses one to read about. Each section is just long enough to grab her attention and give her a little information about that person. There have been a few that she wants to research further.
Great book for about 4-6 grade. My girls have learned a lot about women they had not previously heard of, and it's written in a way that doesn't make it feel like school.
We bought this book so that we could read about girls who changed the world during Women's history month. We read a chapter each night at dinner to our two daughters and so far the whole family is enjoying it. Great book for helping girls realize what they can do!
I bought this for my 13 year old who hates to read non fiction and was hoping this was done in a way that would encourage her to read more stories about real women in history. She is about 1/2 way done and so far she loves it. The stories are short, about 2-3 pages each and really hold her attention. I'm having my 10 year old read it next.
